Description
* We have received reports that product tanker KUBA (IMO: 9383089) experienced an engine failure in a position south of Chios Island, Greece on 13 June 2024.
* It is reported that the vessel was taken under tow by tug to anchor in a position south of Cesme, Turkey for inspection.
* It is possible that General Average / Salvage and associated recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.
* We therefore recommend that you contact us urgently if you are concerned with any cargo on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.
