Description
* We have received reports that general cargo vessel BBC VERMONT (IMO: 9357236) suffered an explosion on board in a position approximately 490 nautical miles southwest of the Scilly Isles, UK on 18 September 2024.
* Sadly, one crewman is reported to have died in the explosion.
* It is possible that General Average / Salvage and associated Recovery issues may arise as a result of this incident.
