Description
* We have received reports that containership AS PENELOPE (IMO:9294537), experienced an engine failure in a position off Wewelsfleth, Germany, on 05 October 2024.
* It is reported that the vessel was later taken under tow by tug to Brunsbuttel anchorage, Germany, where it currently remains at anchor.
* It is possible that General Average / Salvage and associated Recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.
