Description
* We have received reports that bulk carrier BEYOND 2 (IMO: 9526564) twice ran aground in the vicinity of Rosario port, Argentina, on 20 October 2024.
* It is reported that two tugs initially assisted to refloat the vessel whereupon the vessel very shortly ran aground, for a second time, outside the navigable channel of the Parana River, where the vessel appears to remain aground.
* It is possible that General Average/Salvage and associated Recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.
