Description
* We have received reports that combined chemical and oil tanker DING HENG 27 (IMO: 9641508) experienced an engine failure in a position approximately 18 nautical miles off Kupiano, Papua New Guinea, on 07 November 2024.
* It is reported that the vessel was later taken under tow by tug to Port Moresby.
* It is possible that General Average / Salvage and associated Recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.
