Description
* We have received reports that containership GSL CHLOE (IMO: 9506382), experienced a fire in its engine room whilst entering Beilun Port, China, on 24 November 2024.
* It is reported that the fire was quickly extinguished by the crew. Nevertheless, various tugs were deployed to assist the vessel to move to anchor at Beilun inner harbour anchorage.
* It is possible that General Average/Salvage and associated Recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.
