Description
* We have received reports that containership CONTSHIP CUB (IMO:9683477), experienced an engine failure on 05 December 2024, shortly after departing from Vigo, Spain.
* It is reported that the vessel was later taken under tow by tugs back to the port of Vigo for inspection and, possibly, repairs.
* It is possible that General Average / Salvage and associated Recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.
* We therefore recommend that you contact us urgently if you are concerned with any cargo on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.
