Description
* We have received reports that refrigerated cargo ship, CS LEADER (IMO: 9517939) experienced an engine failure in a position approximately 570 nautical miles west of Porto, Portugal on 26 November 2024.
* It is reported that the vessel was later taken under tow by tug towards Gdansk, Poland, where the convoy is expected to arrive on/about 17 December 2024.
* It is possible that General Average / Salvage and associated Recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.
* We therefore recommend that you contact us urgently if you are concerned with any cargo on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.
