Description
* We have received reports that bulk carrier PHILLIP BAY (IMO: 9714757) experienced a fire on board whilst navigating the English Channel on 26 December 2024.
* It is reported that the fire was extinguished later the same day and the vessel was subsequently taken under tow by tug to Le Havre, France where it currently remains for inspection.
* It is possible that General Average/Salvage and associated Recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.
