Description
* We have received reports that containership DONGJIN FORTUNE (IMO: 9251145) experienced a fire in its engine room in a position approximately 1 nautical mile north Tsuwaji Island.
* It is reported that the fire was extinguished by the crew and the vessel was later taken under tow by tug to Hiroshima Anchorage for inspection and, possibly, repairs.
* It is possible that General Average/Salvage and associated Recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.
