Description
* We have received reports that general cargo ship HAV NORDIC (IMO: 8719085) ran aground off Bergsoya Island, Norway, on 04 February 2025.
* It is reported that the vessel sustained damage to its rudder and an ingress of water to its ballast tanks and developed a list as a consequence of the grounding.
* The vessel is reported to have later been taken under tow to Mjolstadneset for inspection.
* It is possible that General Average / Salvage and associated Recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.
