Description
* We have received reports that crude oil tanker, PROTEUS INGRID (IMO: 9923463) sustained main engine damage in a position approximately 200 nautical miles west of the Azores on 30 January 2025.
* It is reported that the vessel diverted to Ponta Delgada, Azores, as a port of refuge, at a reduced speed under its own power with a tug escort, where the vessel arrived safely on 5 February 2025.
* It is possible that General Average issues may arise as a result of this casualty.
