Description
* We have received reports that the general cargo vessel WILSON BLYTH (IMO: 9124419) experienced an engine failure in a position approximately 47 nautical miles south east of Malaga, Spain, on 4 February 2025.
* It is reported that the crew were unable to complete repairs and the vessel was subsequently taken under tow by tug towards Malaga, Spain, for inspection and, potentially, repairs.
* It is possible that General Average / Salvage and associated Recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.
