Description
* We have received reports that bulk carrier JIANG HAI ZHI DA 66 (IMO: 1030662) collided with container ship NING YUAN BEI LUN (IMO:1099541) and subsequently sank in a position approximately 1.5 nautical miles north east of Yangmao Island, China on 29 March 2025.
* Container ship NING YUAN BEI LUN is reported to have been on a voyage from Ningbo to Zhapu, China carrying up to 934 TEUs of containerised cargo.
* There are currently no reports of any damage to container ship NING YUAN BEI LUN which is reported to have moved to anchor approximately 5.9 nautical miles from Zhoushan Anchorage.
* It is possible that Recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.
