Description
* We have received reports that the bulk carrier TRADE (IMO: 9425942) experienced a fire in its cargo holds at Amsterdam Scrap Terminal, Netherlands, on 15 May 2025.
* It is reported that the fire was first identified in cargo stowed to hold no. 4 but later spread to cargo stowed in hold no. 3. before the fire was reported to have been extinguished with the assistance of fire-fighting tugs and the local fire brigade on 16 May 2025.
* It is possible that GA, PA and Recovery issues may arise, or there may be an interruption to the voyage, as a result of this incident.
