Description
* We have received reports that container ship HAMBURG TRADER (IMO: 9316098), experienced an engine failure in a position approximately 33 nautical miles northeast of the Bizerte anchorage, Tunisia, on 13 May 2025.
* It is now reported that the vessel has been taken under tow by tug towards Augusta, Sicily for inspection and, possibly, repairs.
* It is possible that General Average may arise as a result of this casualty.
* We therefore recommend that you contact us urgently if you are concerned with any cargo on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.
