Description
* We have received reports that general cargo ship, FORESTER (IMO: 9003524), experienced an engine failure in a position approximately 105 nautical miles south west of Crete, Greece, on 03 June 2025.
* It is reported that the vessel was later taken under tow by tug towards Gulluk, Turkey for inspection and, possibly, repairs.
* It is possible that General Average / Salvage and associated Recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.
* We therefore recommend that you contact us urgently if you are concerned with the cargo on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.
