Description
* We have received reports that combined liquid gas carrier CORAL FURCATA (IMO:9378307) experienced an engine failure in a position approximately 63 nautical miles northwest of Brest, France, on 24 October 2025.
* It is reported the vessel was later taken under tow by tug to Douarnenez Bay, France for inspection and, possibly, repairs.
* It is possible that General Average / Salvage and associated Recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.
* We therefore recommend that you contact us urgently if you are concerned with any of the cargo on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.
