Description
* We have received reports that bulk carrier, CHINA CHAMPION went adrift in a position approximately 380 nautical miles south of the coast of Liberia on 26 December 2025.
* We understand that the vessel later issued a distress call in the early hours of 27 December 2025.
* It is possible that General Average / Salvage and associated recovery issues may arise as a result of this incident.
* We therefore recommend that you contact us urgently if you are concerned with any cargo on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.
