Description
* We have received reports that bulk carrier, SERENA went adrift in a position approximately 55 nautical miles south of Mauritius on 23 December 2025.
* We understand that a local fire-fighting vessel was later despatched to assist the vessel and may have taken SERENA under tow towards Port Louis for inspection and, possibly, repairs.
* It is possible that General Average / Salvage and associated recovery issues may arise as a result of this incident.
* We therefore recommend that you contact us If you are concerned with any cargo on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.
